THE BRIDGE CLUB

THE BRIDGE CLUB is a hybrid gallery and social space designed to bring people together through art, conversation, and shared experience. By day, it operates as an open, welcoming environment where local creatives can exhibit and sell their work; by night, it shifts into a more intimate, member-driven venue for performances, events, and connection. Its purpose is to create a consistent third space, one that feels accessible yet special, where creativity is not just observed, but lived and shared.

Goal: To create and develop a comprehensive system that displays your full understanding of the information gathered during your time obtaining your BFA.

Prompt: -able

My word: Connectable

What are third spaces?

Not home. Not work.

A third space is somewhere you go without obligation. It’s where people connect casually, through conversation, shared interests, or just being around others.

Without these spaces, people lose opportunities for spontaneous interaction. Creativity, collaboration, and community all suffer when there’s nowhere to gather.

User Experience Through UX/UI….

Designed with the user in mind, focused on what people come here to do. Clear, intuitive, and easy to navigate, the experience is built to make exploring exhibitions, events, and visits feel seamless.

And User Experience Through Space

With the help of architect James Bonsall, I designed a physical space that is flexible and responsive, able to shift with the needs of the community and the art they want to
experience and share.

Our Doors Are Always Open

This project reflects an openness not just in space, but in process. From exploring new tools to learning unfamiliar workflows, it was built through a willingness to adapt, experiment, and grow. Each step forward came from staying curious and open to
what could be learned along the way.
